    ... Bresaola. Capicola. Variety after variety of salami and sausage. Richard had to buy some sausage for breakfast. We also saw a sign for panoramic views ( at least that's how we interpreted it) we walked quite a way in the heat of the day before allowing the hill to beat us. We turned back as it seemed a much longer walk than anticipated. We did however mange to forage for plums and pears. The blackberries were a bit too green and we have become quite discerning ...

    ... wet - maybe in just jumps in the pool??!!

    I get up and make coffee, I get the kids to do a token amount of school work (relieves my guilt) and then about 10.30am we walk the 10 metres to the pool. Lunch is about 12.30 followed by siesta - mainly it's just me who is interested in that - but today I did manage to get the kids to have a lie down.

    ... was time to move out of our wee apartment which was a real shame because it really was a lovely place, we’d got to know the owners dog, we loved cooking meals (I can say ‘we’, because I helped most nights and actually cooked one night!!!).     ... and very different than the typical wedding cake.......much like our wedding where all of our typical wedding traditions have been cast aside.

    We are looking forward to sharing a great day with everybody here and we will feel close to a number of other people back at home that we will toast and think of during the day.
