I get up and make coffee, I get the kids to do a token amount of school work (relieves my guilt) and then about 10.30am we walk the 10 metres to the pool. Lunch is about 12.30 followed by siesta - mainly it's just me who is interested in that - but today I did manage to get the kids to have a lie down.

“Well, here we are. What a romantic view; you can see the entire city from up here! And the sunset is beautiful…”

... dellightful cafe for lunch: Margaharita Pizza, with a thin crispy base, belissimo! This cafe is well known as a meeting place for Hollywood stars.

Cortona has very narrow and steep streets, purrfect for pets.
