Everyone gives this bloke Usain Bolt big raps for his speed across 100m, lets see Mr Bolt run the 200 with a collapsable table, a white linen cover, a wad of euro in cash and change, three brass bells and a little ball. Day 249
    2 hrs, 3.3 kms

I reach Argenta in the "scorcher hours" of the days. The streets are empty, the shops closed. The town has narrow streets with same looking houses pressed right against the street--sort of like the more boring towns of ...

Day 249 4 hrs, 3.8 kms After doing nothing but provincial capitals, I'm determined to experience some small towns on my way to my last province yet to explore in Emilia Romagna: Ravenna. My first stop is Portomaggiore, which is a farm town, not a "Major Port". Once again, I enjoy the neighborly vibe in the plaza and along the pedestrian street with folks doing their morning shopping and old men on bicycles ...
