... any food, no milk for coffee (this is the real disaster!) and no dinner. What to do you ask? Well when you are traveling abroad you have to plan ahead for these little problems. I didn't. So what to do, well if you go on the autostrassa (big highways) then the service stations are open. I am observant. Off we go and find one that is open and grab some spaghetti and sauce, bread and milk. Good to go now (as long as there is coffee!).

There's a nice walkway along the shore of the lagoon which makes you forget the heat a bit... then finally I reach a charming little town, guarded by a thick wall, just a few blocks wide and water on three sides.
