... Pinocchio’s town. This time we hiked up to the town itself. Extremely steep! When we got about way, lightening and thunder began. Decided it was best to hike back down. Just beat the down pour! We also toured the Garzoni Villa grounds/ garden and butterfly house. A little disappointed that the Villa itself is closed.

Success!! The girls loved the Spritzer and just to make sure they did, another round was ordered.
Time flies by when you have so much to catch up on, so at 7pm we left the bar, went back to our Hotel to freshen up before disembarking again ready to hit the town ...

Lucca has been a treat and has lived up to everything Hsing-ay had hoped for. It is beautiful, charming, lovely for walking, and very relaxed. Life in Lucca is great and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants something a bit different than Florence or Venice.
