... since we started drinking wine we thought... let's keep it flowing. Seemed like a no brainer to have a bottle on the beach while the sun was setting. Went back to the hotel and the bartender recommended a superb bottle of red vino, opened it, gave us two wine glasses and we headed to the beach. The weather was wonderful... all we needed was a sweater and the warmth from the wine. The sun set behind a mountain and painted the sky ...

... and ran up two steps at a time. It was amazing because you could actually feel how bent the Tower was from the inside. Well, it wasn't claustrophobic or slippery at alėl and it was a great climb, which only went for about five minutes. The view was great at the top! When we got down, we took more photos and headed off. I got a huge gelato for just 3 euros
(three flavours!) and it was definitely worth it. I shared it with Mum, don't worry. We came back ...

After lunch Greg and I took off to pick up the photos that were ready in Borgo Giannotti and then stopped at the micro-brewery for a couple of glasses…I also called Paul to see if he wanted to join us…I didn’t have to ask twice!!! He was there in a second.

After a few drinks we made our way back to Brunella and relaxed for the rest of the day and then at about 8.30 made our way to ‘San Giorgios’ for a return visit ...
