... salt marshes so it is also an important bird reserve. We did see a couple of new birds but there is not a lot there during the summer.

Although this is an undeveloped area it is still very popular at weekends with families coming out to have lunch on the beach. This is helped by a 10k sand road out along the beach which means people drive out with trailers full of chairs, tables, shelters plus food all for ...

Well I think I will let the pictures from today tell the story. Not only were the site facilities very good but the owners and their family who run it are very personable and helpful. David in particular enjoyed Marc's company, and the two would often chat and debate all sorts of topics, with much humour thrown in. A lovely man. Both Marc and Sally are very hands on in respect of the site - ...

Arrived in town at 16:00 when siesta is in full swing so quiet as a mouse. Did a stroll to find out the ATM etc. I'm always fascinated with Mediterranean towns and villages that even with hundreds of acres available they are packed into a tiny space on the hill......surrounding the church. I'm cooking shortly and I'll be taking the pictures after light dinner.Fresh pork sausage with olives ...
