Signor e Signora are becoming very professional with regards to this motor homing business. The Italian camp sites are dry and arid, brown dirt has replaced green grass. I have never seen Signora so happy as when she bought a tarpaulin to cover the brown dirt and a long handled brush to do the sweeping. Apart from the incident at the restaurant and obstructing the loo during the thunderstorm, I have received nothing but lavish praise from Signor e Signora. In fact I think I deserve an increase in the treat ration for I am also very popular with the italians. They are not used to my size, my unflappable nature, nor my aquatic performances in the lake. Cries of "Bruno, Bruno, Bruno" resonate around the camp. ...

Signor e Signora know very little italian and I'm not much help either. Other minor problems include - In France the peage are marked in blue with other roads in green - In Italy the toll roads are marked in green and the others blue. This could end up being an expensive excursion into Italy. Not to worry, the sunny weather and the wonderfully joyous disposition of the Italians compared to the French give this trip a bellissimo start. ...
