Day 83: Arrival in Historic Georgetown

... very interesting and well-presented. For dinner we walked in search of somewhere and unintentionally ended up at an Irish pub!

We're all pretty tired today (I know, it's one big holiday, how can we possibly be tired?, but in all seriousness this amount of travelling really is exhausting!) so we're having a fairly early night tonight in anticipation of a big day of sight seeing tomorrow.

... scene. Plus it has a beautiful waterfront. Both cities have excellent day trips, but Launceston’s might be a bit better with Cradle Mountain closer, plus wineries, caves and wildlife parks, but Port Arthur or a harbor boat trip are great day trips from Hobart.

... seem to have a habit of doing this.
We find another stall and a man is sitting on his own, he doesn't mind sharing his table and we order the famous noodle dish Char Koay Teow. He also tells us what dishes are popular and after we have eaten that it contains the pork intestines......:(
He goes to a little stall and buys us each a wafer thin type crepe to try and then some sate sticks.
He refuses to take any money, what a kind man.

... people. That's how I felt after ten minutes there. We also went to one of those huge shopping malls where every shop sells the same things. We bought nothing except for some ice cream.

At night, we had dinner at an Indian restaurant called Sri Ananda Bahwan. The food there was just amazing and as cheap as anywhere else. We stuffed ourselves and went back to the hotel to rest.
