    ... defined areas for each motorhome, McDonalds was next door so we could use their internet whilst we had a coffee, and for the princely sum of €3,00 you could get 30mins of electricity or 120L of water – but that was the only costs involved. We had a very relaxing night and think that we are going to like using Aires du Camping (in France) and Stellplätze (in Germany).

    ... was a young NZ soldier who was executed on 24 February 1918 and pardoned in 2000, whose family had brought over a wakahuia, a treasure box, containing information about him, a hei tiki and copy of the pardon. This was in the centre. A photo of each soldier is shown on a wall as their name is read out. And Tyne Cot is only one of many cemeteries.     Today we left the UK! We got a taxi to St Pancras, after checking out (and getting £30 off our bill as the bathroom sink had been blocked for 2 days even though we told several people no attempt was made to fix it), checked in to Eurostar and sat down to have some breakfast before the train. We boarded the train and were through the tunnel and in France within an hour and 20 minutes later we were off the train in Lille and in another taxi on ...

    ... which make them more unique and away from the tourist traps. We went for dinner at a local pizza place the next night and for 15 euros we got a ginormous pizza that feed 10 of us but of course we had to get two. The pizza was as big as the table it was awesome. Then we went to a Mexican restaurant that served 3 euro cocktails, very strong cocktails so we hung out there for awhile as well :) I was lazy and did not join everyone in going out at 3 am to a club but went to bed and so when ...

    ... metro. the metro should pay the hotel to put in triple glazing and airconditioning at the frount.

    Last night there were loads of Police in town in full riot gear, yes I did pay my bill, also army with big guns. Mind you this is an army town with special forces out at an old fort (16 century).

    I had my first icecream of the trip yesterday, lemon sorbet so sharp it makes you pucker up lovely.
