    ... something that hurt. I kept going, thinking it was a sharp rock, then the woman next to me told me I must put on my shoes. That seemed like good advice, so I did, but it was too late. I had cut my foot but didn't see it till I was out of the water.

    There was no point getting into togs - the water was so shallow that paddling was as effective as trying to swim, and it was a little murky too. Who knows what was in there, but I'm sure I wasn't the only one ...

    So after a 10 hour flight and a boat we finally arrived in Macau around 5pm but with enough time to properly celebrate Mark's birthday. Getting the boat tickets was our first experience of the loud Chinese who do not know how to queue (obviously very upsetting to the English who are very good at queuing!).Whilst patiently waiting, a Chinese gentleman was literally shouting at the staff and getting closer to us by the second - the person serving us just said 'I hate this place'!! ...

    ... The Human Bodies Exhibition was a fascinating part gruesome, part educational tour of the inner workings of human body using preserved human remains to illustrate anatomical detail of the entire human form (with obvious exceptions).

    ... We left the hotel under a very slight drizzle and walked about 10 minutes to the Sofitel hotel at Ponte 16. Here we boarded the double decker open top bus. Yes, you read it right: OPEN TOP!
