... something that hurt. I kept going, thinking it was a sharp rock, then the woman next to me told me I must put on my shoes. That seemed like good advice, so I did, but it was too late. I had cut my foot but didn't see it till I was out of the water.

There was no point getting into togs - the water was so shallow that paddling was as effective as trying to swim, and it was a little murky too. Who knows what was in there, but I'm sure I wasn't the only one ...

... and they are always looking for the perfect culinary delight. The line went quickly and when we finally got the tarts they were still hot and almost burnt my tongue. But crust was sooo flaky and delicious and the filling was perfectly sweet and creamy. Heart! We washed it down with some iced creamy coffees.

Right on New Years day we took the ferry from HK to Macau. We spent all day walking around seeing the unique blend of Portuguese and Chinese influence.

Of course, cannot forget the delicious egg tarts, hot pot at home, and all the bright sparkling casinos visible from our window.
