... we headed over the hills to a headland overlooking St. George's beach. The walk was down to bay called pirates cove. It started high on the headland and climbed steeply down, following an old donkey path. The cove looked a lot like a smaller version of Phi Phi island in Thailand. We watched the bands march through the town, finally congregating in front the Lindon cafes. Here they stood in the rain and played in turn, then marched back into the city. The whole occasion was watched over by a large crowd of Greeks, both from Corfu and the mainland, who braved the rain and cheered the bands. It was definitely worth getting out of bed for. ...

... up line in the lobby. We wanted to sign up for the Booze Cruise! The Booze Cruise was definitely interesting! We went with all of our friends and sailed to a small private island where the cruise dropped us off for a couple hours. After laying in the sun all day we finally got back on the boat and headed back to the mainland to return to the Pink Palace. We had to go home, shower, and get ready for the toga party that ...
