    ... s decided to introduce himself (Terry, his wife was also a mess) and give us a history lesson on what POM stands for (Prisoners of Mother England), his life story, his wedding back in Melbourne, his spud farming days in Manjimup, for the next hour… we couldn’t get a word in sideways… finally his wife (and daughter holding his grand-daughter) convinced Terry he needed to go… and so did we… tomorrow… Croatia awaits ...

    Waking up on the ferry this morning feeling a little worse for wear and over heating. The cabins were cosy with no air conditioning so we didn't really have a wonderful sleep.     We are setting off down the coast of Italy today heading for an over night ferry. The coastal drive was beautiful, paddocks and paddocks of sunflowers although two weeks earlier they would have been looking amazing.
