Expectation, pleasure and price
... the EU than the ride itself. But Ibwas there. Mission acomplished: i was in time in Corfu to recieve Cristina. I was actually there one day before, precisely as I wanted. It was still early afternoon so I wandered around a bit, getting to know my transport options to were the cheap hostels were, 30 km from the port town. Don't really understand why they didn't put a cheap dorm just in Kerkyra, the Corfu main town where all the ferries get in and out. Found out though, ...
Corfu just in the front

After a great revival stop we continued along the coast to Igoumenitsa, arriving in great time. We parked the bikes and found some comfy seats located in one of the many street bars and had a few beers. It was great as with every beer we ordered ...
Learning to speak a bit of Greek
... around and there are markets here which are cheap, although we don't buy anything mindful of the fact that at the end of the cruise we still have to carry packs. We meander up the hill and find the fresh food markets where we have a coffee. The owner of the restaurant teaches us how to say hello and thank you in Greek, but they are hard, especially thank you. We check out the old fortress, but it is a bit disappointing with ...
