... turning out much hotter than either of us anticipated, it was due to be in the 90s in Kyoto and we packed for more like the 70s, so we decided to make a quick pit stop at the Shibuya Uniqlo to buy some clothes for ourselves so we wouldn't die in the heat. we'll see how that ends up working out.

We wanted to check out the Shinjuku Gardens, which is one of the highest rated attractions on TripAdvisor, but they apparently closed at 4 - so we didn't make it. Oh well. ...

... little shop that had many kinds of Sashimi for sale. Kim decided to try the 4 Tuna special and i opted for 4 of the Sea. Which included Salmon, Tuna, Salmon roe and Sea Urchin. We pulled up to the bench and started with some delicious tea, shaved ginger and Miso soup. We sipped our tea coyly watching the locals eat their meals trying to learn any secrets they might unknowingly share. When our food came it looked quite delicious. ... a nice lunch somewhere. Ollie found that they had a Sizzler steak restaurant nearby so we went there. We couldn't believe our luck when we saw what we could have for lunch, as they had a full buffet that came with our steak. We tucked in and ate a lot of food.

... with all kinds of seafood. I was surprised that it did not smell much inside, unlike many other fish markets I have been to. The busiest part of the market was when you walked outside with so many carts, trucks and vans driving the big crates everywhere.
