The first thing that stood out was the convent heated seat, although it might be difficult to tell if it was warmed up by the previous patron (my one pet peeve) or by heating elements in the seat that might tragically short circuit during the cleansing cycle. Unlike their Indonesian counterparts, these toilets have a retractable nozzle that conveniently tucks up under the seat, thereby minimizing the potential for soiling it. There ...

Our flight leaves tomorrow for something we have been looking forward to for many years. We will finally get to see the new holy grail of Snow sports meccas. We will be flying to Sapporo, then shuttling it to Grand Hirafu one of 4 resorts that make up Niseko ski area. We are quite excited to see snow again and can not wait.

Talk to you soon from the snowy wonderland of Niseko.

      Much Love
