      ... on this month on his way back from Spain and was held up for several hours on the autoroute just outside Toulouse because it was blocked by tractors. The farmers are not happy with changes to the agricultural policy. He made it to the ferry with just 10 minutes to spare! It’s no wonder the French are the laughing stock of Europe.       It was a long 5 hour drive today to get to the Pyrenees but it was worth every minute of it to round a corner and see the snow capped mountains in the distance. We arrived at our campsite at Bagneres de Bigorre just south of Tarbes in the Haut Pyrenees about 2pm and were amazed to see the elusive yellow ball (aka the sun) in the sky….yeee haaa!!

      Our campsite is stunning, situated at the foot of the Pyrenees, there are currently only 2 vans staying ...

      ... over the last few days. Today likely brings to an end this motorcycle tour, and the last week has been an absolute highlight as far as riding is concerned, as well as company, and scenery.       ... the right lower area is the Actual Grotto, where the miracle occurred. Just a little background, concerning the miracle, a young girl (Bernadette) was with her friends near the river...and Bernadette heard a voice and saw a Lady near the Grotto with a blue sash and yellow roses on her feet. She asked the other girls if they had heard her, but they said no and did not see anyone. The lady asked Bernadette to return for 15 consecutive days, so she did with her friends. During those ...

      ... adult a Grade 10 Begger with First Class Honours.

      We don't wish to make light of what Lourdes is all about. Whilst it is out for the tourist dollar it meets the needs of the faithful. Kerrie reckons the true miracle of Lourdes is the number of people who volunteer to look after the sick and handicapped.

      We left Lourdes after two days glad that we had visited a town where we really did not know what to expect but enriched for what we found.
