Good breakfast here. Lots of choice and it seems I have scored the best room out of everyone at this place.

Watched 'Dirty Dancing' in German last night. Kept me amused.

As a result of stuffing my shoes with all that loo paper, had none this morning - had to steal it off the cleaners cart!

We left the hotel at 10 am today so a really lazy start but not much to see on the way to Opatija and we can't arrive too early as we can't check in …

... a large number of the local twits in their boy racer cars out on it.

On a number of occasions they would come racing up behind and sit within a few feet from the back of my bike and desperate to get passed. They then would take any chance they could to get passed putting their and my lives in danger of a head on crash. Most of the time if a car came up behind I simply pulled over and took a few photos just to get them off my tail.

... we had views of enormous mountains and on the left the beautiful water. We arrived in Split around 1.30pm and had no idea where to go. We decided to just hop in a cab. He drove us about 5 minutes and then said he couldn't go any further as cars weren't allowed. He gave us some good directions to our accommodation and we found it very easily.
