Beautiful island with an explosive history

Santorini the beautiful
... switchbacks to the top of the mountain, we arrive at our hotel, the Millhouses, located at Firostefani which is next door to the capital Fira. Very nice, one of the white structures hanging off the side of the cliff. 50 steps down to reception and we are there. And then comes the room. 'you can have the suite sir, as all the rooms are full'. We investigate and find the suite is on 4 different levels, all very nice but the bedroom is a cave at the top ...
Last day in Santorini
... had drinks. The water was cool but still nice, it was pretty hot. After a while we went back to the cafe behind us which was like a cafe/bar/swimming pool and we hung around the pool drinking which what we could only think were greek celebrities. It was a really nice relxing day. We headed back home at about 6 and went out of dinner and had another kebab. I love kebabs and gyros! We leave for Mykono's tomorrow a bit early so looking forward to having an early ...
Oh the hardship!!
