... I've barely had them before Motovun. Every meal included truffles. I had truffles and chicken, truffles and pasta and even truffle soup. My mouth literally waters when I think back on the food I ate there. Damn. Also, my trip to Europe has allowed me to discover a love for red wine, which makes me feel more mature than usual. Lots of olive trees, very hot, quite lush & green, but then the architecture is more Venetian style and being so close to Italy must have influence. Haven't seen or heard any Brits yet, it's German first then Danish, Austrian & Dutch - some Czech and Solvak. It's very beautiful, the natural surroundings are stunning, as are ...

Venice
Beautiful sunshine greeted us for our first real day of the holiday. We had a long drive to venice as our sat nav had decided to avoid toll roads and took us through the back streets but eventually Ben showed his technological superiority over me and sorted it out. Then Rami did what he loves and can't do in Australia - drove at 130 kph (and more) legally.I am continually amazed how fast these cars drive here and how close.A tiny fiat 500 passed ...
