Yesterday we walked the trail between the villages, today we had an easier day visiting each village. I pulled up ok after our Marathon yesterday, my legs were sore and my knee was hurting (from going down all those steps) but I wasn't as sore as I thought I would be. Did the math real quick in my head and thought it should take 20 minutes for our number to be called. Of coarse the ticket counter went from 3 attendants to 2 AND this idiot with a wife and kid was at the same counter for 30min! An hour later our number was finally called. Asked the guy "what's up", he said strike ...

... village, Vernazza. Tired, sweaty, and one of the last to arrive, we jokingly blamed our lateness on getting lost. Waldi and Pete were drinking beer and said that they were on their third beers already! Of course, they were joking. Alyssa and I also each bought Moretti beer and it was so refreshing! We explored the town a bit more by the water, drank another beer, and then met up with the group to catch the train to our next destination: Monterosso. ...
