Grand sunsets
... bit, I had a
look in the Greek orthodox church and then wandered around the town
for a bit. To get down from the town to the tender area, we could
catch the cable car down or ride down on donkeys. I decided to catch
the cable car down, it was a fast ride and soon it was over, then it
was a quick trip on the tender to the ship.
Once I got to the ship, I dropped my stuff in
the room, then went up to the top deck and watched the sun set. This

Small, beautiful, charming-a masterpiece!
... I emerged at the west exit where there were several hotels. Most looked rather exclusive perched on the cliff with unbelievable views (and prices too probably) but I was searching for a cheap one my guidebook recommended. I was getting tired and just wanted a place to stay so I ended up at the Horizon Hotel.
What a great choice! I had been nervous about the prices on Folegandros but was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive my posh accommodations ...
Santorini - In winter
