    Today we leave Tropea to head back to Fagnano. It's been a wonderful stay despite the discomfort of the hotel. If you want to stay anywhere on the eastern Italian coast in summer book at least 12 months ahead not weeks as you will end up like us!

    Very pleased today to be at sea. It's been non stop for us for over two weeks now - so really nice to just chill and do nothing much. Which is exactly what we did. Late breakfast, swim in the adults pool at the far end of the boat. The seawater was smooth, calm and glassy and we passed the volcanic island of Stromboli which was steaming away nicely.
