      Museum at Academia for a bit of culture- lots of painting of last supper that were rescued(?) from churches in town. Some really old 14c stuff and some more recent restored items. Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...

      ... eat first. Cable car on full stomach? Not my idea of fun. Lunch. Wow. We are really getting into the whole Italian lunch thing. The restaurant we eat at has great food and as the wood-fired, citrus marinated chicken I have chosen will take 25 minutes the waiter suggests a light pizza to share while we wait.       ... drunk as approached us.... Kev said no thanks... And he slurred back...but ya don't know what I want .... Hahaha.... We found the hotel and booked in & decided to meet back in the lobby in just over an hour for dinner...John had been out scoping the place looking for milk... No luck... But found a resturant on the corner.... Not a bad meal ... Then back to the hotel for the night... Off to Cinque Terres ...
