I have also been observing some rather strange activity in myself. No way of knowing if it's the sea, the medicine, the purell, or what. For instance... I went to bed before midnight on the first night of the cruise. On the second day of the cruise I swam laps in the salt ...

We had a whole day of just hanging around Corfu town so we went for some breakfast and then picked up our laundry and popped back to the hotel to pack our bags. The weather is not so good today raining and a little cloudy so for the most part of the day we just mooched about shops and did some stuff on the internet. The batteries in the camera keep going so as soon as we can get some good ones then we will post the pictures.

... I ordered about 4 meze each there was so much yummy food we had local sausage, cheese pies, saganaki of course, meatballs, fried shrimps and salad, tziki, break and wine all for 30 euro. We then went for a walk to the Listern its a street made of marble and all bars with seating along it where the people who want to be seen go so we sat there and watched the people walking past all glamourous ladys in amazing shoes and clothes its a cool place Corfu town.

Ian rang me to tell me that he was in a little cafe up on the village and that the village was brilliant really Greek so I think he is happy that we are getting out of here so that we can see a bit more of the island tomorrow. He came to the beach and ended up having a swim and we had a lovely lunch in the taverna and had a really nice day. The guys from the hostel where on the beach and we had a little chat with them.

... mosquitos even though I have spray on to deter them everything is ok. Go met off the ferry by some american guy who is running the hostel that we are staying at he was really miserable and obviously did not want a conversation with us as we where talking to him asking him questions and stuff he put the radio on really loud how rude this was my first impression of Brian and it did not get any better.

Just a quick note. Spent a fabulous day on Corfu. This is what you think of when you think of Greece. We rented motor bikes and crusied the island. I will update more when we get back to Rome on Tuesday.

... on the beach located at the bottom of the resort. To get active, we kayaked around the shoreline, finding secluded beaches and towering cliffs. Otherwise, we just enjoyed the location and value of the hotel - including the dinner, a home-cooked smorgasboard of Greek cuisine. All in all, one of our top vacations!

The poorest country in Europe (according to the Department for International Development) -- entering the country from Greece is like going into a different world....
