On our second day, we checked out some of the other rooms that were available but in the end decided to stay where we were. We have a side window which makes for a nice breeze in the morning and we do not get nearly the sun that some of the other rooms do in the afternoon.

We had decided to try out the bus and were glad we did. It is up the hill from our room and comes fairly often because Katerados is on the way from various other parts of ...

... offered to pay for lunch and as far as road trips go, this one was pretty special. We've kept the car for another day and will catch up with a couple of the sights we missed today before getting ourselves to the airport for a flight over to Athens tomorrow night. One sight we won't be getting back to is the ancient monastery which is perched on the highest point of the island. The drive up the winding road without any safety barriers had my passengers ...

We had a wonderful day - what a way to celebrate our 25th anniversary - one we will never forget. Thanks to Mummy for our fantastic accomodation and to Mandi for paying for our dinner!

Had a lazy morning gazing out at our stunning view, then walked down for coffee and greek cake and yoghurt for brekkie.

We wandered about some of the galleries, have several more to look at. The array of art, sculptures and metal work is amazing, could fill a crate with ...
