Christmas music and hot weather
... His contract was up and he was due to sign off the ship in Piraeus the next day. We had some wine in Cellar Masters, Martinis in Martini Bar and danced a bit at Quasar the disco on board. It was nice to have a evening out and about around the ship, Breanne, Jenny, Rosie, Oleg, Dema, Tiffany and Danny came out. It was lots of fun, and we danced into the wee hours of the morning giving Oleg a proper send off.

It had been incredibly difficult to work out how to get into Turkey from the Greek islands. The year before there had been a direct over-night ferry from Paros to Samos (about 7 hours by boat), which then had daily ferries to Turkey. But not this year. ... I can usually get them smiling and bantering a bit. I know I pay too much for stuff, but I do my best and have fun with the process. Its all very cheap anyway, so why not have fun with it.
Brazil playing tonight in the World Cup. Most of the crew cheering on that side, so all good. Pretty quiet night though as tomorrow is the End of this segment and the beginning of next. A 12hr day!

We're not in Kansas anymore
... sunsets before we go down to get dressed for dinner. Today we are just going to sit at the pool as we steam towards Eygpt. Tomorrow will be our longest excursion to Cayro and then onto Giza.
