... s. We visited Gundogen by bus on Tuesday, again a very cheap journey cost us 14TL in total there and back so less than 5. We walked around the bay it had such lovely views and it was another very warm day so we were pleased we had our swimming things. After lunch Daniel and Gill returned to Yalikavak and today was their 47th Wedding Anniversary, we continued having a walk before I went for a swim on the beach David swam before lunch. The water was very warm and as I ...

Another late wake up, another buffet breakfast and then we caught the regular shuttle bus across to the Gand Yazici's sister hotel on Torba beach. It was a lovely spot, but the area for us to hang out was on a wooden pier at the end of the water and it was nowhere as lovely as our hotel. We are dinner at a traditional Turkish restaurant specialising in grilled meat. Once again we had the most amazingly tasty ...

... my hotels along the front. In Yalikavak there are a huge amount of different sized boats called Gulets as you can see from the photos. These go out every day on the height of the season and quite a few go out now. They take people around to the bays to swim and see the views from the sea, give them lunch, have a bar but one thing they don't do which is crazy, they don't sail....... They motor everywhere which is such a shame to see. The Gulets all seem to be different ...

... here is chunky...not pebble like just much larger grains, hard to stand on it the water cause you sink like quicksand. Looked pretty on my tanned feet though :-). People walk around the lounge chair littered beaches offering massage services...pretty neat idea. That's actually how we ended up meeting Dimmitris, friend of Manos, who's skills were highly recommended. Jenda got himself a 2 hour ocean view pampering session and woke up looking incredibly intoxicated :-) Afterwards the 3 of ...
