    ... to stop, we looked at a beach front parking area, as we drove along we attracted a pack of dogs, the chase your wheel type, they ran in front and at the side of us barking for about half a kilometre, it's a wonder they don't get flattened, they were close a few times today.

    ... gullies where recently there has been some serious flooding, what is left of the path is very narrow. We took a few photos and headed back, the sun was just starting to set and the sky was looking very pretty at first orange and the changing to a deep red colour.     We set off to follow the track besides which we had camped. We passed through the muddy part we walked to yesterday, the water was quite deep in places. We continued for a few kilometres dodging low branches and passing through flooded track. We could see a dog on the track ahead if us, as we got closer we realised it was a jackal, it let us follow it for a short while and then disappeared into the undergrowth.     ... but Kinda found a nice hotel with a great breakfast and view of Kavala for about 50 euro a night. It was about 3 Kms to the city but a taxi was less than 4 euro.

    At the bottom of the old city was an ancient aqueduct that transported water from the mountains. We had an authentic Greek fish meal which was nice. Lot's of cats were around to eat any leftovers and it seems there are many stray dogs and cats in ...
