Relaxing on the beach
Beach time! After getting my head stuffed full of knowledge in the various libraries of Greece
and Turkey it was off to Marmaris for some relaxation and beach time. The beach was so lovely and sandy and yet so empty. Oops... Major Mugla Mistake!
... company overexagerating to gain our money, and prepared ourselves for a 4 hour trip.
We got off at the first stop to use the bathroom, as is our practice (since no bathrooms on the bus). We got off at the 2nd stop to get lunch, like the others. When we stopped a 3rd time, probably 3 hours in, we didn't get off. We contemplated, but felt too lazy to move. This was a mistake!

A day at the Beach
... it than it would cure! There was all sorts of shapes and sizes getting in, Stuart and Lex thought it was great sliding around with all the bikini clad girls. When you get out you have to wait for the mud to dry then go and have a shower. Lex decided to have a go in the hot spring as well with the other dozen people (water looked very dirty and dodgy). This is supposed to make you look ten years younger, haven't seen it yet they still look the same.

Visit to Marmaris Castle
... went back at 1.30 (we were all worried Stuart might get locked up) Stuart talked to the ticket man who in turn went and got the lady archeologist to have a look at it. She took Stuart into a room and put her probe over it and discovered it was about 1000 years old and they were very pleased to keep it, she was particularly pleased that we could give her the exact latitude and longitude of the position where we found it.
