... area on the way to Marmaris we were fascinated to see a Turkish submarine following us!

We spent several days in Marmaris to get the chart plotter fixed, do some shopping, and to visit the boat broker I'd bought the boat through. Marmaris is also very touristy at this time of year. Leaving Marmaris, we could see the Greek island of Rhodes in the distance, and were glad to anchor once more in a quiet little spot called Bozuk ...

There are no cars/motorbikes just people on foot. Beautiful medieval buildings and streets. Full of Europeans. Zero ***** given. I love these people. Lots of walking, exploring, taking photos and drinking summer drinks. Amy, tom & Asher will arrive later ...

... attached to one side. The pebble work on the outdoor courtyards was very pretty, and generally the place had a nice peaceful tranquil feel to it. Found a backstreet restaurant for lunch. Away from the dreadful hawkers and their 2 litre glass boots of beer. Then we meandered back on board and had a nice swim and spa at the back pool. My god I even felt cold for once. Another buffet at the back of the boat which wasn't as nice as last time. Then off to the karaoke which was a dead ...

... an enquiry at the Municipal Office, we were directed to a municipal bus park with a regularly serviced ablution block. They told us to stay there “No problem. No pay. Quiet tonight.”

Hmm. We were not so sure about the latter part. The carpark was about 60% full – big tour buses and mini buses being the main occupants. The toilets were acceptably clean 24x7. The gents had a cold shower – we guess ...
