Our second week started with a cold, dreary Monday. Being the fair-weather fishermen that we are, we didn't go out on the lake today. The ladies piled into two vans and drove to Walker for our annual beach-town shopping day. With its quaint gift shops, unique kitchen gadgets, "Up North" t-shirts and sweatshirts, and wild rice distributors, it's a favorite place to spend a cloudy day. ...

We headed in a little earlier than usual so Tom could get the fish cleaned and we could head out on our afternoon adventures. At about ...

We left Idaho on June 6th, after an amazing bike ride in the Grand Tetons. We rode from Moose Junction to Jenny Lake. The ride was a gentle up hill all the way. We reminisced about our prior visit 34 years ago with 3 infant girls. What a wonderful time we had then hiking around Jenny Lake! On the 7th we hightailed it across Montana. Bill was a ...

... relax mode and not in a hurry to get there. We are waiting for the weather and trying to just get in the slow mode of life. Trying to see nature as God intended it to be. What a beautiful country we live in and everyone should take the time to enjoy it. As my father always said, "Take the time to stop and smell the roses."

The next stop will be a park named after a president. It will be two days travel so we won't be on line for a couple of days.
