Definitely time to go home!! The inside stove died totally today; sounds like burnt out motor/fan or some such. Good job we have the alternative induction cook plate to use. Set off south and east through the Plumas-Eureka and then Tahoe National Forests. Might be our last trees; lots of desert from Reno to SLC, and then down to LA. ... On the way back we saw some massive thunderstorms passing north of us which were spectacular with some really big bolts of lightning.
After a couple of hours taking it easy in the apartment we ventured out to have a game of mini-golf; a course had been set with nine holes around the village. ... always played the minimum, while Bob sometimes bet $20 or $25 at a time. We have very different gambling personalities! Our losses were the price of entertainment for a couple of hours so we don't mind as we had fun along the way.

When we got back to the motorhome, we found the windshield cover only slightly out of place. Nibs is learning that we always come back eventually.
