Back to the cold NW
We are all checked into the camp. Lots of trees so no satellite but there is cable, no internet but there is cell service. It has gotten below freezing the last several nights so we will refill our fresh water tomorrow and use our onboard tank. Nothing like roughing it in the wild. The dogs will be on tight leashes so if they see deer or other critters we will stay attached. We will be here until early Saturday so we can avoid Seattle traffic. More ...
Pinnacles, Pool, and Play
... the front of the mountain. It was even steeper than yesterday’s hike but it was shorter and easier because I didn’t have a waist pouch with 2 liters of water in it. We were plenty thirsty when we got back down. On the way back to Leavenworth we stopped at a fruit stand and got a couple of souvenirs.
