Nice fairly sunny day start today. George did have some drooling on and off this morning but got better by the afternoon. Did run into a bit of snow on the sides of the roads going over the White Pass but mostly heavy rain on and off. Stopped at Randal for lunch at "The Cafe" which was a ...

Once again - never expect us to do what we plan to do!!! The plan was to leave Monday Oct 27h but was ready to roll by Saturday Oct 25th so decided to head out. Dinner tonight as we didn't have lunch, was down in a little German or Alpine style restaurant with snitzels & sauerkraut and some red wine straight from the cask and quite disgusting. We were serenaded by an 80 year old Piano Accordion player with hearing aides in both ears. So we toe tapped our way through our meal.
