... 1) 1 hour wait time for food in restaurants, 2) no air conditioning in all restaurants but 1, 3) smaller room than advertised, 4) difficult to carry heavy plates back to room to eat in room (no room service), 5) tried to trick me to switch to a worse room calling it an upgrade (at no discount), 6) xbox game did not work, 7) xbox game controller did not work, 8) concierge service often did not pick up phone, ...

Finally at 4am on Monday, just west of the South Coast of Haiti, the breeze started to build and before long we were blazing along again at 8-9 knots. We contacted Svend to meet us in Kingston instead of Montego Bay as it saved us about 80 nautical miles of sailing and we arrived at the Royal Jamaican Yacht Club at 2100 and Customs and Quarantine came down to check us in. Svend had organised everything with the Club and Immigration for our arrival!

Woke up early this morning and went to Sabina Park in Kingston for the cricket match of the West Indies v Sri Lanka. Had the best time! Probably the best match (one-dayer) I've ever been to. Sri Lanka batted first and was all out for 208. West Indies chased that total down. Chris Gayle scored 109. He was amazing - belting the ball to all parts of the ground. Truly spectacular to watch!! Speaking of food, we were invited to stay for lunch, where escoveitch fish, rice & pea, avocado salad, callaloo and lemonade were served. You know you are in Jamaica when there is not one, not two, but THREE hot sauces on the table haha
