Woke up early this morning and went to Sabina Park in Kingston for the cricket match of the West Indies v Sri Lanka. Had the best time! Probably the best match (one-dayer) I've ever been to. Sri Lanka batted first and was all out for 208. West Indies chased that total down. Chris Gayle scored 109. He was amazing - belting the ball to all parts of the ground. Truly spectacular to watch!! ... the bean out. It came out in two halves, covered in a slippery jelly. He then said to put the bean in our mouths and suck off the jelly. We looked at the bean, then at him, then at the bean. What? You've got to be joking?! It's slimy! He said we will notice it has a sweet taste. I plucked up the courage and popped in a bean. He was right! It tasted sweet but not of anything in particular! I put the the other half of the bean and svens beans in my pocket. I'll ...
... and even a swimming pool! There is also a hobby garden where fruit and veggies are grown for fun and whatever produces is shared among everyone.
Speaking of food, we were invited to stay for lunch, where escoveitch fish, rice & pea, avocado salad, callaloo and lemonade were served. You know you are in Jamaica when there is not one, not two, but THREE hot sauces on the table haha

... Air con. Bliss we were all craving air con being so tightly squeezed together in 34c heat. Yes the breeze began to blow in from all the open windows :0).
Sadly there did not appear to be any seat belts apart from one for Captain Kirk and only used if a police van or car was spotted.
Most of the journey was a blur as it was done at speed in order for the vans to complete as many round trips as possible. After an hour my poor bad knee was hurting big time as K was sat ...
