I thought I should complete the picture by seeing where the Nazi criminals had been placed on trial....I took a two hour train to Nuremberg......when I got there I was really surprised.....I thought it would be a village but it has over 500 000 people......it is a beautiful city....I took the subway to the law courts.....they are still being used by the Bavarian Justice system so access is a bit restricted...there were only about five ...

Nürnberg is nice
... then we had coffee and apfelstrüdel! We need a couple of those back home along highway 80... In spite of the break (or maybe because of it!) we got bored about 45 minutes on and we pulled off the road somewhere into a little abandoned rest area. There were a few other trucks in the same place...we parked next to a huge leafy tree, tipped the seats back and took a nap! About 40 minutes later we were refreshed and back on the road.
