Tomorrow, we have a travel day. We set out at 4:40 am and will transfer buses at Rijeka. From there we will go to Zadar, another lovely city down the Dalmatian coast. After a drive of about two hours, our first stop that day was Pula, where we had a walking tour with a local guide named Marya. We covered the Roman Amphitheatre, underground section and several other significant historic sights ...

      ... near us.

Croatia has incredibly beautiful beaches with some of the bluest waters I have ever seen, but they are not the most comfortable beaches. Most of the beaches are rock beaches and the one we visited yesterday was no exception. We found some rocks that looked somewhat flat and Ren and I headed into the water while Jason fell asleep. I guess the rocks we chose were comfortable enough because once we came out of the water, all three of us ended ...
