    ... larded our little ferry and cruised back to the town of Portofino. This again is typical of the Mediterranean style. Portofino as well as some of the other little coves in the area were once used as a refugee for pirates . Could see the Black Sparrow walking around the township. Actually as we entered the inlet I did comment to Tim it reminded me of the Disney ride Pirates of The Carribean .     ... to walk to the water without shoes. Thankfully, there was a wooden runner in place that went to the water's edge. Although the beach sucked, the water was warm and the people watching was spectacular. We were possibly the only tourists there...

    ... wedding. And sure enough, eventually a family went by with a dog! We rode the HoHo to the train station and bought our tickets to get to the Milan airport. Then the mishaps began, all thanks to Fodors. First off, the Furnicular to the fort only ran in the morning, although Fodors reported that it ran all day.
