... was not the acting or the music but rather they served Staropramen!!!! (http://www.staropramen.com/english/ind ex.html). My favouritest and possible the best tasting beer in the whole wide world. I last had it in Czech Republic and now they have bottled it up for export. Worth every penny of my 5 quid. Suddenly the musical was even more entertaining than it already was. Tried to rush back for some rest before the grand finale of our holiday....ROME!
London, England, United Kingdom vellu... in a typical Spanish town. Originally, I was just going to sleep once arriving at the pension given how exhausted I was, but seeing La Coruna's lively centre invigorated me and I decided to got for a walk. It still ended up being a fairly early night as it was only a walk of no more than a couple of hours. I've got two beautiful weeks in beautiful Spain - I needed to get some rest tonight so I can start off this trip properly tomorrow!
London, England, United Kingdom pwong... on what seems to still be an active, vibrant means of transport. We were fortunate to see Tower Bridge raised, before heading back, for our "flight" on The Eye. We made a quick side stop at The Eye 4-D Experience, a 4 minute film/video of what you are about to see whilst in your capsule on The Eye.
After the obligatory half hour wait in the Boarding queue (tempered this time with a Flake ice-cream), we finally got into our capsule, to find a ...
... about the Drax protestors (obstructing a coal train) not having their case of 'fighting a higher crime' taken into account and prosecuted as common criminals but as Monbiot so eloquently says, protestors like these are the 'conscience of the nation' and it is so important to keep chipping away. Keeping up these actions can feel useless at times or like shouting at a brick wall but I really beleive that every bit does help and its about showing that ...
London, England, United Kingdom ruthcape... We did run into some other Canadians travelling in a group. There were three couples and an extra guy and they were all form the Toronto area.
Favourites:
Jen: The Royal Mews
Ang: The Sunken Garden
Least Favourites:
Jen: The V & A closing so early and not having enough time there.
Ang: The rude bus driver that wouldn't give Jen directions or even acknowledge she was talking to him eventhough he looked right at her - Jerk
... touch and look at. The next floor down was all about Computers and how big they where at first and now thier smaller. Then all about Hi-tech Britan, Docks and driving, Energy, Marine Engineeering and Mathamatics. I found it all very interesting even the Math section but particuarly the Marine Engineering was fascinating as I love water and Marine life. Then it was down to the next floor which also had lot of hands on things to do. For example in the Plastics section you actually walk ...
London, England, United Kingdom adri204... was more beautiful we both really enjoyed our time at Banff. The area is very interesting (being mostly national park), and we spent the days exploring the areas around the town of Banff. We stayed in a Samesun hostel in Banff, which was really cool (Samesun in a chain of hostels in Canada, and whilst there are a few things that they could improve I would still recommend them), and met quite a few interesting people. There are probably a few too many too mention, but we spent a ...
London, England, United Kingdom papertiger...

London, United Kingdom bennali... and an amazing experience but it is great to be back and see everyone. P.S. This is going to make us look really sad but we actually kept a tally of the number of beds we stayed in and all the different journeys we'd made, so, for those of you who are interested?!: 107 beds (including one hammock which I won't be repeating!) 33 ...
