The Drive North to Patras
Woke this morning to the most spectacular waning moon but the photos just don't do it justice.Only a short drive to our first stop which was Methoni Castle/Fortress. Bulit by theVenetians in the 12th century and then taken over by the Ottomans in the 15th century. Whilst a lot of it is in ruin, the walls/moat/gate etc are still intact. We ended up dumping our luggage at a local transport company and headed off to find a wifi cafe.
Finally, sitting in the shade with a cold Heineken in hand, we made contact with Savvina and all was good again :)

Overnight Ferry
