Got the full family immersion on our trip this weekend. Brian's dad's family is from all around LA and San Diego area. ... of the great view and location already in 1852 it became part of the Military defense. We found an old control station. We didn't t see the gun battery, where they had two 16-inch guns, which could fire 2300 lbs shells nearly 30 miles into the sea.

... it's like this but the exhibit is not as good as others we have seen elsewhere.

Rich heads off to one of the shows - Pets Rule. It includes dog agility, cat agility, with a few pigs getting involved. It was a show based on what animals like and then a few odd additions to keep us entertained. A few displays and a bounce in part by a kangaroo and a couple of emus stole the show. Lots of fun.
