... spent some time playing catch on the beach; Josie was just enthralled with the tides and the seagulls. We saw a great pelican among the seagulls, dipping gracefully into the water for dinner.
What a contrast to the heat in Vegas. When we arrived, it was around 73 degrees, low humidity. So refreshing.

... some. The Giant Pandas were something we will not forget. Just like on TV. They are adorable! There is a tram that goes over the zoo from one side to the other so we took that, right over the big gorillas. That was fun. This is also a botanical garden and there are great plants and trees to see. And the food. Ohhhhhhh droooool. Cafe Coyote's Mexican feast was divine.
And the hotel had these nice fire pits by the water so we grabbed a 6 pack and some snacks and enjoyed watching the night wind down.
