... day by going onto the Manta Ray Rollercoaster Ride where your feet don't touch the floor and just dangle. It was incredibly fast but great fun(we also said that Grandad Derek should come along with us next time).

As we walked back to the Car they had a huge firework display which was hilariously causing all of the car alarms in the car park to go off but luckily our car was ok.

... to Mexico, no turning back and no passports. Ended up in the back streets of Tijuana totally lost with no GPS. Screeming directions at each other we finally made it back to the US border, but more problems. No passports only our Australian drivers licences. ... and it was brilliant!! Good choice, great people, great vibe and people who can actually respect others and their property - met some pretty cool dudes there!!

I didn't know anything about San Diego, well maybe even less than I knew about other cities - (bar Seattle which I thought was Chicago, I don't know.. it was a very confusing time for me!) and I probably wouldn't have gone there if it wasn't for Stace living there. But wow SD has so much going on ...

... and we headed off on our first road trip, south to San Diego. It's only a short 1.5hrs drive.........so not exactly a long road trip, but long enough with kids that don't want to be in the car!!

It was wet, grey and miserable!! A really ****** day to be doing anything really, even driving. But we made it safely to our new home for the next 6 days - Loews Coronado Bay Resort.
