... was long and leisurely, almost 2 hours, a bit too long. By the time we returned, the kids were asleep in bed, to our amazement. Normally, Mark and Cheryl fall asleep first. This may be the earliest the kids have gone to bed on the trip.

A special shout out to the the Hoyne's who were married at the Del. I'm sure your wedding here was amazing. We miss you guys!

Tomorrow: More pool or beach time at the Del. Hopefully, we’ll see that San Diego ...

... spent the day together visiting La Jolla cove & beach. La Jolla is known for its sea lions & we got lucky & saw some of the little critters yay! Amazing local surfers & tiny soft sand grains, we found a cute smoothie place for lunch before Max dropped me at the new hostel. ... was a cartoonist who had done some fantatsic work, just a shame it was out of my price range.

Bought a metal wine bottle holder. Now, I know what your thinking back home - this guy just put an expensive wine fridget in his new kitchen and has a Marri wine rack, why would he need a metal wine holder. Well, this one is a work of art people and worth sitting in our beautiful home for that reason.

Today was Ella’s day and with the jet lag again having an impact, we were all up and about before 7am. Being awake early has its benefits as it meant we could start getting ready for car journeys and stuff, getting car chargers, pulling out the bathers and most importantly finding the sandals.Ella picked the breakfast ‘joint’, the Broken Yolk which was downtown and on the way to the zoo.
