    Left home just before 1900. Ever since 1990 when my consistent international travels began, by tradition I have left from my parents' place.     We had a nice breakfast and said goodbye to Charlie who is going to London to meet his wife. We drove with David and Roy to the Venice airport, with Raphael driving at a reasonable speed today. It was sad to say goodbye to the mountains. Our flight to Toronto was delayed by an hour and a half, so we didn't get into Toronto until 5:45 with our connecting flight scheduled for 6.     ... rink just out in the open. It's used for for rollerblading in the summer and ice-skating in the winter! We saw this group of elderly people doing zumba-style dancing which was quite amusing. I surreptitiously pretended to take photos in the other direction so that the others could sneakily watch them without being too obvious.
