My dear friends: It's getting colder in Canada and my thoughts are wandering to warmer climes. On January 12/2010, I fly to Managua, Nicaragua and then work my way north ending up in Cancun, Mexico. From there, I fly to join many members of the Gaudun family in Daytona Beach. If you would rather not get notifications of my travel blogs just send a brief "no thank you" to this travelpod . We've upgraded our camera and hope to be posting some nice pictures, and maybe even some video on this site.

Gestern Abend (Freitag) habe ich mich auf dem Weg zu Christina nach Hamilton gemacht. Was nur eine knappe Stunde mit dem Bus braucht und auch nicht so teuer ist ($ 9.25).
Nachdem Christina mich angeholt hat, sind wir erst mal meine Sachen bei ihr zu Hause abladen gegangen und dann erst mal Essen kaufen und kochen. Mittlerweile war es dann doch schone twas spaeter und wir haben beschlossen nur noch auf einen schnellen Drink ins Westdale Village zu gehen. Nachdem wir eine kleine Runde ...

See Dettifoss as well (most powerful waterfall in Europe) 12 -Move to Egilsstaðir. Not much to see here but the buses don't connect well so I'm stuck here for a day 13, 14 - Camp at Skaftafell National Park 15 - Camp at Landmannalaugar 16, 17, 18, 19 - Hike the Laugavegur Trail from Landmannalaugar to Þorsmörk ...

Over dinner one Tuesday evening, Ian and I were talking about where we should go for a holiday in September. We tossed around some nice ideas, maybe a resort-y type holiday? But where? Greece? Cuba? ... lessons with them. We also went to another place that sells only fruit wines. I bought a wine there. So the end result was that my luggage got to be rather heavy with the 6 bottles and all. So on Monday which is today I left to go back to Ottawa and my aunt and my cousins aren't here so i cant show off. :( But I can show off with you guys! So the end result of my little trip is that I would recommend going to Niagara Falls but I would totally recommend going to the wineries too!

And authentic too. Then there are all the attractions and this can be really fun to write about. Many have long histories behind them and researching the history is excellent.
