Farewell to Tabu at home and to my parents at the nursing home where my dad now lives.

The trip to the airport was routine and even Park 'n Fly were not too bad re the pick up. Must be a great time to check in as right up to the counter and almost no waiting at all for security.

... Beth, Jesse, Keren and I went exploring. The scenery was beautiful and ended in a mini-photoshoot for Jesse & Karen on their baptism birthday! They were quite excited!

We all sat around the fire chatting and consuming smores and hot dogs. It was a lovely way to end such a happy day. It was great to chat to Jesse and Karen and to get to know them a bit more. Looking forward to catching up with all these people at conference!

Well, as it turns out, a 1-hour delay was enough to make us miss our flight to Copenhagen. After landing we taxied forever to the gate, then waited for the ground crew, then waited to disembark. By the time we stepped on the Tarmac it was nearly 8:30. We walked/ran down the concourse, but it was probably over a half mile to the terminal and a security checkpoint, and then nearly as far to our departure gate. We arrived just minutes after the door had been closed and were told that ...
