If you've been good enough to read a homeward bound leg, I should at least intersperse it with some pix of the trip.

I could not figure out how to shut a window in the room last night. I was not worried it would be too cold but there is a flight path overhead so there was a fairly constant roar of engines. The 0606 alarm decided to go off. Took a couple of Advil to get rid of a headache but it passed.

    To Hamilton

We cycled to Hamilton from Toronto to Hamilton, which was about 85km. It was a very warm and humid and unlucky day... Got 3 flats in a row... But once we got going, it was a great day. We stopped for lunch in a park where lil' kids were played Aussie Rules, and then we met Adam as we were cycling who ended up cycling all the way to Hamilton with us. We stayed over at Eritia's and her family (who come from the Netherlands!) for the night.

The scheming together of families also makes the game more entertaining.

... check in. Talk about easy. Tim Horton's as soon as we got through screening and reading until our flight leaves at 12:50 p.m. For the 'best coast', as Darcie says. Sunny and 17 C in Toronto. Perhaps some rain in Vancouver today? Oh well. Makes the trees grow. Our flight back to Vancouver was great although we landed about 45 minutes late and had to make a mad dash to get our bags and a cab to the south terminal ...

... and two escalator rides took me to the relative quiet of the T2 B gates. Nice digs for the Star Alliance. Seems odd the gate for a flight would only be posted an hour before departure. Charged the computer, this time on an outlet that was not a British plug [or at least not the three square plug I know].
