... reservations at 7 and were promptly seated. This restaurant was a bit cozy shall we say. The table next to us was about 6 inches away. We were lucky in that they were two nice gentlemen and we did get to speak a bit about the area with them.

Our food was excellent. Rich had the salmon and I had the chicken. We shared a market salad that had a fantastic dressing with white balsamic dressing. No dessert for us. The view ...

... by the CHIPS, so I expect he will understand my slight error of judgement. After that close call with the NYPD I decided that driving like a local wasn't a great idea and stuck to the speed limit for the rest of the journey. If they'd seemed intimidating from above, observing safe and relatively dry from the edge, then they were awesome and even a bit terrifying from below. If you'd stood right at the front of the boat, you may as well have just turned a hose on yourself and be done with it, I've never heard so much screaming when people are obviously enjoying ...

... Despite this I still decided to take the Maid of the Mist ferry to the falls for a closer look. There are plenty of high capacity boats cycling through to get through the high volume of punters but it still took at least 45 minutes of queuing to get on board. The wait was definitely worthwhile.

Before boarding the vessel every passenger is given a poncho. I had heard that you might get a bit wet (hence ...
