It's not how I remember it but then I was on the outskirts and working. I like it more now and wandered through a couple of small parks earlier that were once again busy with people from all walks going about their ...

... countries! If not too exhausted from all the festivity, we will spend a few days around the Christmas holiday in Rome.

This past weekend we ventured into Frankfurt for a nice lunch, and to see the botanical garden in Frankfurt before it got too cold or wintery. See pictures attached. All of us had been before, so we cobbled together a plan to walk around the city, go to the Rijksmuseum, go to the Heineken experience, and check out Vogel Park. The Heineken Experience was my favorite. They had a RIDE where you "become the beer" and they take you through the brewing process on this moving platform, like Star Tours in Disney World! Awesome.

... actually had our packing and cleaning wrapped up for a decent bedtime of about 11pm so we had a good sleep base to start from. Danny showed up to take his role as wheelman followed shortly by fellow travelers T-Ball and J-Ball (as I like to call them anyway – they are actually Tony Ball, father, and Jared Ball, Compass High School junior and son of T-Ball). We rolled into the airport on schedule, checked bags and printed boarding ...
