    ... a formal tour. The walled city is very easy to wander about in and enjoy. We found interesting shops and cafes in little side lanes and enjoyed looking at the arts and crafts displayed in shops and made by local artisans.

    ... possible - I understand normal time takes about 2-3 hours - argh!!!!! If that's the case, with our 4.30pm flight from Venice to Gatwick, we have to be there by 2.30, the likelihood of getting to Burano will be very slim. Oh well I'm sure we'll be back!).     ... before taking a cable car up to the top of the hill behind Dubrovnik to get some really great photos of the walled old town and the outer areas of Dubrovnik too. That was really stunning! We then went back down and found a nice place to have dinner with a view of the sunset!
