Marshall went to the flooded from high tide with a full moon San Marco's square while I napped, took pictures, then came back to nap too. When we woke up it was overcast and pleasantly cool. Marshall wanted to shop and see the Rialto, so we went. On the way it positively poured, so we took cover in a mask shop and waited for the worst of it to pass. (Also we shopped.) The ...
... drank alot. Venice is as beautiful as it's reputation suggests and I think we were lucky that it didn't actually smell. Either that or I've been in China too long and are now immune to smells of pollution!

Not keen for a repeat performance (literally) of last night we headed out round the peninsula in the hope of a quieter, cooler night. We had a walk along the beach, which Logan was staggered at (see photo) and he had a cool down swim - his first in the sea!
