Wieczorny spacer i , obowiazkowo: gulasz. No, i piwo. Biedny Piotrek - kierowca, zawsze poszkodowany, ma okazje odrobic zaleglosci w piwkowaniu.
Ale.... gdyby dopuscil kogos do kierownicy... Nie dopuszcza, to ma za swoje ;)))
Pokoje ze sniadaniem, po ktorym jeszcze spacer po miasteczku, ktore wyglada inaczej niz w wieczornym swietle.
Ruszamy.....

... to walk around a lake, cutting through farmer fields, containing a certain type of cows (I'm sure LP will correct me on the type), vineyards and along the coast to a church with a long walkway containing three crucifixes and the 14 stations of the cross.

... of dutch guys who were in the cabin next to us and we proceeded to go for more drinks, the bar on the campsite was closing, but the barman filled a 1.5L plastic bottle with red wine from the 'tap'...

On our second night, the guys generiously treated us to a traditonal meal in a local restaurant in the town centre...

As I am typing this story now, I really feel I want to do things for me, without the pressure of still finishing the van, organizing things in the van. I am here, and it is a great feeling! Hello world! India here we come!

p.s. by now, we have visited Budapest and are in Eger, see our route....but no time to upload this story until now.

... off the busy road and to see some nicer neighborhoods and small towns. Once we left the lake however it was similar to the prior day with some additional trials. A guy yelled at us for standing in the road looking at our map despite the fact it was a deserted small town with wide roads and plenty of room to go around. ... The bridge here was built in the thirties and demolished by the retreating Germans in 1944. It's a long bridge and still only crosses the main channel. The town itself has some old bildings but its very noticeable that it's much poorer then Budapest.. The pavements are broken and ramshackle its dusty and the houses are older and needing more repair. Next on the list was to buy lunch at Spa ...

I must say that I was somewhat unimpressed by Lake Balaton, although the sight of our elderly, cynical program director stripping down to a speedo for a quick dip was something I won't soon forget. Balaton has a reputation as a huge destination for Hungarians but when we were there the weather was less than ideal and it was pretty much deserted. I think most of the people who voted for the lake regretted their decision.

POLSKI: Gdy wstalismy o 7 rano, paru wedkarzy nieopodal juz lowilo ryby. Nasz domek na wodzie wygladal za dnia calkiem imponujaco. Z jeziora poszlismy prosto do sklepu, kupic jedzenie na sniadanie.
