Hello from beautiful New Zealand
We flew in 3 days ago on Feb 10th. Our first stop was Cristchurch in the South Island. We stayed at Country Glen Lodge. A pleasant motel next to a big park. First we had to rent a car at the airport. Moshe had to get used to driving on the left. We tried all kind of mantras but the one that stuck was left- small turn , right - big turn. It was ok when we drove on a straight street, following traffic . After some small ...

Nervously walked out onto the balcony this morning to see what the sea looks like and it couldn't have been calmer! So relieved!! It's another hot day, reaching up to 32degrees! Woohoo!! Our cruise is booked for 11am so we headed down to the pier to collect our boarding passes and say hello to the staff again! About 10-15 minutes passed and the dolphins had swam ahead so the horn sounded for us to get back on the boat so we could catch up with them. It was the first glimpse at just how many there were because they were everywhere, jumping, flipping and entertaining us as we caught back up to the pod. ...

... during the day. We had to rely on his promise that he would be ready to be picked up at 5 at Princess Margaret Hospital, which he kept (mostly). We headed back to the motel to eat Morell & Co leftovers and debrief about our first day as real kiwis. He had wonderful things to say about all of his staff and the program and I had the bad news about the house. We spent the evening looking at more homes and more cars until our eyes couldn’t stay open. ...
