Historical Traveler Reviews of Adiv Tel Aviv
from bitbytravelbug

Great value

Very nice hotel - solid 2.5 stars. All rooms are doubles with full size bathrooms - Upgraded rooms are better but standard rooms are fine. Breakfast is excellent and of course the beach is a short walk as are many good restaurants. Nice discount for Sar-El volunteers. Better overall than the nearby Maxim

Basic hotel with Great location, great price
from bitbytravelbug
Have stayed at this hotel several times, as it is a weekend favorite with participants on the Sar-el/VFI program. Rooms are basic, and clean. You can walk to the beach in about 5 minutes or head right out onto Ben Yehuda and catch a taxi or sherut to the Carmel Market, Old Jaffa, etc. Plenty of eateries along Bograshov and Frishman and along the beach. Very nice Israeli breakfast buffet. The toaster is removed on Shabbat! (Unlike Jerusalem, the elevator operates normally)
If you've been travelling for awhile ( or like us, in Israel during the Lebanon/Hizballah situation) you will appreciate the free internet access in the lobby. You may have to wait awhile. I found coming down early in the morning (before 8 a.m.) I could usually hop right on.
In conclusion, a very nice tourist class hotel in a great location at a great price. If you want luxury, you could stay a half block away at the Dan hotel for double the price.
O.k. for the price, horrible room
from truecolors5a
A small hotel with newly renovated lobby in Tel Aviv. No elevator from tiny 5 car space ground level garage to the lobby. It does have another parking site several blocks from the hotel. The lobby is clean, the new dining room is nice and offers decent israeli style breakfast. The hotel room was a dump! Had not been renovated. The bathtub has not been scrubbed and the carpet has not been vaccummed throughly for years. Very tiny room. Location is not bad, one or two block from the beach. The price (90/nt) was very good considering it was during Passover (since many other hotels were booked) but would not stay there again... unless they renovate the rooms!
Hotel Adiv, Tel Aviv

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times while visiting Israel and found it to be a really nice place to stay.
The location, for me, was excellent. 60 seconds walk to the beach, in one direction and under 5 mins walk in the other direction to Dizengouf Square (City Center). As it is on a side street, it is very quite at night, unlike many of the major hotels which are situated on the main street with traffic going all the time.
The rooms were very clean, as was the hotel through out. The staff were helpful, efficient and friendly.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Nice clean reasonable
