Today is 6 weeks until everything changes.

The reality of what I'm about to do hasn't quite hit me and I'm afraid if I stop and think about it too much the gravity of what's to come will overwhelm me. So I take each day as it comes and tick one thing off the list at a time. Now its off to The Nunnery for a ...

... went to see what Melbourne had to offer in the botanical garden, and among marrying couples and family pick-nicks we saw some nice trees and flowers. After the botanical garden we went to the national gallery to see what kind of art they have there. Unfortunately we missed the Australian section and had to settle with only European and Asian art, which we have seen most of before.

Tomorrow we are back on the road again!

... It was good but not my favorite. It tasted just like a date cake, so I suppose if you like dates you would love it!
February 15- I met up with 3 other au pairs at Flinders (the train station) and we headed to the German bar Hophaus to celebrate Cologne's Karnival (similar to Mardi Gras). We got to try beers from Germany and Belgium and even a few from Cologne itself! We were later joined by 6 more travelers one of the au pairs had met ...
