... forecast we decided to visit the State Library of Victoria. This magnificent building holds many historical exhibits and notable rooms housing these exhibits. In the center sits the landmark Domed Reading Room. The octagonal room holds over a million books and can accommodate over 600 readers. On the day we visited many students from the nearby university were taking full advantage of the facilities. The room underwent a complete renovation between 1990 and ...

We arrived back to the "Garde" household with a friendly welcome from Snowy and Sandy their pet greyhounds. Arriving on a weekday the house was a bit quieter during the day, so we went for a morning run which was tough in the heat, but probably tougher as we hadn't done it in so long. All these long walks in NZ clearly didn't hold our stamina levels. We still had the car for one day so thought we would take advantage to visit somewhere not ...

... However the cider, made from Pink Lady apples, was very refreshing. The server here was another ex Pat Brit, who coincidently went to college in Garry's home town, so there was a lot of reminiscing going on. Another good day, oh and by the way the scenery was fantastic, a mixture of dairy, fruit and vine growing areas, with rolling hills all around. Plus it was still sunny and warm again today. So all I can say is ...
