... got it in seriously under the wire, and there were a few times when it seemed certain we weren't going to make it, so it was a Major Victory when we did. ... have grown up knowing this home, so it will be a sad day for everyone who knows them. Their home is almost like a 'drop-in' home to all and sundry. So many happy memories. ... We're going via Seattle, home to the Chihully Glass Museum and allegedly an all-round nice place.
Trouble is, departure is just six days after returning from Europe and Singapore. Seems like utter lunacy and this is confirmed on Day 2 home when I sleep through until 3.05pm and can't work out why it's light in the middle of the night...
