We finally reached Melbourne and checked into the hotel at 4pm. It was a long and tiresome journey. The problems started in LA, first with our air tickets, then our luggage.
We finally got to the gate and right when we were boarding there was a lock down of the entire LAX terminal because of a breach in security. …
Partying in Melbourne
Well, well..... about time to explore the night life a bit more..... we have been out a few times, mainly I went to residency events like the cocktail party in the Adelphi Hotel ot eh Shark Fin House, bt we also have been clubbing and out for dinner, movies and to numerous places..... here a little picture collection, it surely was always heebs of Fun!!!!
Golden Sands Penang
... Girls go shopping at the Night markets and love the Plaza's, we have done it 3 times since, (I skip the KL part) and then 7-10 days in Pinang.
The people are lovely, we stay at Golden Sands Shangrila in Pinang, the staff are fantastic and the breakfast Buffet is terrific, I'm by no means a foodie, all in a wondeful place with great people.
Pinang, is, in my opinion old world Asia, no cheap Bars or seedy stuff, I know I sound like ...
Australian re-entry
... gorgeous surroundings,and with charming staff, the time passed all too quickly. They then drove us back to their lovely house, for wine, cheese and fruit and to meet little Archer aged 2 and Radar their chocolate lab.
With hugs and squeezes from us and the entire family, we sadly parted, Tania kindly dropping us back to the hotel. Many thanks to you both for your hospitality.
Now we must leave gorgeous Melbourne and hit the Great Ocean ...
