THe rain continued to threaten to fall all day but we didn't let it stop us from getting out and about. Denzel and I set off on the tram for the city to the Rundle St Markets. After chatting to a four year old the whole way there - well she did most of the talking - we got out to feel the cold wind and headed for the markets. They were a bit of a disappointment ...

Adelaide, South Australia, Australia danskgirl... toda a gente estava a curar a ressaca.
Adelaide, South Australia, Australia aguas... had a great evening! These are a few interesting things about Australia so far: - Michelle still hasn't gotten used to the driver's seat being on the opposite side of the car (as it has been in Thailand & Malaysia, as well) - We learned that milkshakes are quite different than in the U.S. They actually are milky! If you want a shake, you need to order a "thickshake". (Two ...
Adelaide, South Australia, Australia mitchmich... of the residents, followed by a paper round, which is then followed by a round of residents and consultants. Because plastics only has a couple of their patients on their shared ward with the orthopods, the group wandered through the hospital labyrinth, looking for her patients. And this twice! Quite interesting. I just followed and met the residents and consultants, and had a ...
Adelaide, South Australia, Australia christiannevn... kaverit vetivat 30 sekunnin runeja tuosta vaan kuin voileipaa aamupoydassa! Melominen breikkiin naytti vahintaan yhta vaivattomalta.. Tuosta toivuttuamme matka jatkui lounasajaksi kohti GOR: suurinta nahtavyytta, 12 apostolia. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twelv e_Apostles,_Victoria) Perille paastyamme apostolit lunastivat niille asettamamme odotukset taydellisesti. Osa apostoleista oli tosi sortunut aivan viime vuosien aikana, tama siis on osa maahan aaltojen vaikutuksesta ...
Adelaide, South Australia, Australia eemarle... now - we saw an Argentinian steak house the other night and ivan is dying to tackle their 1kg (I'm not kidding!) t-bone! Now that'll be a photo opportunity.. I think we'll leave Adelaide feeling, like we did with Perth, that we would have loved to have spent more time here. I wasn't sure at the beginning (probably partly tiredness and the cold) but it's totally grown on me (and we seem to be taking the weather with us so fingers crossed for Sydney!) Update - well ...
Glenelg, Australia sharonf72... Adelaide. I asked and was told that I was in the wrong terminal and had to take a bus (what seemed like across town) to the other terminal. The bus ride was the first time I got to see people driving on the other side of the road. If you have never seen it, it looks very confusing at first, but you soon realize it's the exact same, just flipped. When I arrived at the other terminal, I had three hours to find my flight. I got ...
Glenelg, Australia hbomb1... bucket down with rain. So I go inside and order myself a Sunday roast. For the third time, I find myself driving back into Adelaide. The car's windscreen wipers have never been tested before. They make a loud electrical buzzing sound as they struggle to wipe sheets of water from my view of the road. The demister doesn't work at all. There's a helter-skelter section of downhill where I have to keep pumping the brakes. The ...
Glenelg, South Australia, Australia gerry_goosehart... of yachts, designer restaurants and wine bars. Live jazz and smart trousers. As ever, I sigh a little at the ever growing number of arrogant new trendies, pouting fashionably over their mochaccinos and sushi. While posing in ' to die for ' clothes and accessories. The same old **** as in Fremantle WA. And I pity the impoverished and unrepresented minority - the dark folk. The aborigines . They are deeply mysterious and always seem to me like they're about to jump out of their skins ...
