Flight left from Tel Aviv at 6 in the morning so decided it wasn't worth paying for a bed if I had to get up at 2 to check in for the flight by 3. After all, with the night life as it is in Tel Aviv, I wouldn't be going to bed until mid- night ( I'm not one of those young ones that GO OUT at midnight) and who wants to pay for a nights accomodation for 2 hours sleep!!!!!
Flight left on time. All good so far. Tired but OK.

... their generosity and kindness. Thank you didn't even cover it. I left feeling extremely humbled, if I can be half as nice as this family I am doing well. And now it was time for under water hockey. Cenk had arranged for his youth team to train so that they could play with Gary. Apparently they had been calling Cenk all day making sure that Gary was still coming they were super excited to meet him. And when we arrived their eyes lit up and they rushed ...

Time for a shower, brekky and then hit the road for the 2 hour drive to Adana.
We met up with Cenk, another one of Gary's hockey friends, and he took us to his apartment where we would be ...
... underwater hockey training session with the team from Adana, so I couldn't full indulge in the great food! It is probably also for the best considering my ever increasing waist line due to lack of exercise and good food :) I just hope Cenk makes it out to Sydney when I'm there so I can repay the hospitality that Luci and I were shown.

... on top. Murat said of this mountain:"often she hides her face". But not today. We skirted the mountain and found that it would be with us all the way to Kayseri. We saw her from three sides.
Goodbyes were being exchanged as we motored across the plateau. I was leaving the group in Kayseri; most were flying to Istanbul; some off on other adventures....
Murat had plenty of time up his sleeve, so he dropped me right at my hotel, the Bent, on Ataturk Blvd.
