The city was incredible, really spread out (no way you could walk around it) and like Canberra a big lake in the middle, with quite a few bridges crossing it. WE hadn't had breakfast so instead of a cruise on the lake we had a meal and then the taxi driver took us back to the rail station.
... and visit another country if it wasn't too expensive. The prices in both cities would be relatively similar so it would only be additional transportation costs. We found out it only costs £27 return to Singapore on the same style coach we got from Hat Yai which was so comfy so bought the tickets there and then. We were up early after not having much sleep from getting in so late last night! Dzariff wanted to take us to a stall really famous for its coconut rice, where people travel from far just to have it. The stall opens at 7 with the queue going back for miles and apparently sells out every day by 9 so you have to go early!
