Ticking off KL's "must sees"
... with a plan to scoff some fresh fruit, until I see a little boy coughing heartily all over it. Um, no thanks, changed my mind… The metro station is a very short walk away from our hotel now that we’re in the city centre, so it’s an easy journey to get to the Butterfly Park. There are over 6,000 butterflies here and as we walk through the netting, we are hit by a wall of sweltering heat. It is absolutely baking in here and beautifully ...

Drugged up!
... about this side of the world is that private hospitals aren't that expensive, as we found out with mum in Bangkok. So after seeing the on-call doctor he deduced that we had food poisoning and duly prescribed us some much needed drugs! So, it ended up being a waiting game in KL. We still harboured plans to go to the Perhentians but only if we felt better once the antibiotics had kicked in. Unfortunately it took us longer to recover than we ...
